Dolph Homestead...is shown in this drawing by Miss Ellen Dolph. Home was built nearly 80 years ago. The cement walk across the front yard was the first of its kind in Mills County. Some of the original shrubs and bushes still grown in the yard.

Henry Nissen, a guidance counselor at Missouri Valley High School, will retire July 1 after nearly four decades as guidance counselor and coach. He spent 31 years at Missouri Valley High School.

Signing Her Name... to the balloon mural at Sixth Street and Broadway Saturday is Council Bluffs artist Marcia Joffe-Bouska. She won the $500 for the best design in the contest, which was sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.
