Depicting noteworthy scenes and people in Council Bluffs history, the mural on the Hite Center at 542 W. Broadway was completed this week by artist Mike Branigan. Branigan is leaving the area next week to start art classes in Minneapolis.

Today...a few buildings remain the same as in the 1918 photo. For the most part, however, remodeling and new buildings have kept up with the times.
