Visitors . . .could speak to prisoners through this barred window in the door at the Harrison County jail. Three modern visitation booths now allow prisoners to speak with friends and relatives.

Harrison School...awaits a decision on its fate. The Council Bluffs School Board took action Tuesday to solicit bids to have the building sold or torn down. It has been uninhabited for several years.
