The city buildings of Council Bluffs in 1904 were all in a row along Bryant Street between Broadway and Vine. At left is the city hall, a courtyard and the ornate police station.

Today...the former location of the city buildings on Bryant Street have been converted into a metered parking lot. The change took place in 1940 when a new city hall building was erected at Pearl St. and Willow Ave.

Council Bluffs Changing Scene--This corner property at Frank St. and Perrin Ave. was purcahsed [sic] in 1928 by St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The site, covered with large shade trees, included the large brick house and stone garage at right.
