City's Newest School...is Washington School on Scott St. and Washington Ave. The $458,000 building will be ready for students when school begins on Tuesday.

New Tinley School...on southwest corner of Eighth St. and Avenue G is ready for occupancy. Students will move from the Eighth Street School, left, into the new $344,000 building on Friday.

Mathew A. Tinley School...is nearing completion at Eighth Street and Avenue G. The 4350,000 building was officially named Wednesday. it will replace the old Eighth Street School.

Moving Day...finds students transferring supplies from old Eighth Street building into new Tinley School.
