Description
Three Million Cubic Yards . . . of dirt will be moved in the 20-odd mile diagonal. Cuts through hills, such as this about 1.5 miles south of Weston, will provide fairly level driving. This bridge will carry county road traffic over the four-lane super road. Other dirt work has been completed from Franklin Avenue in east Council bluffs northeast to the proposed intersection of relocated Highway 6 and I-80 near the "Yellow Pole Road." Still other grading and rolling has been finished northeast of Neola.
