The New Sign . . . in front of Neola's Bicentennial log cabin downtown is displayed by Gene Carlson, Hoo Doo Day planning committee chairman. The wooden sign is Neola's Bicentennial symbol and depicts various historical moments. Both the symbol and cabin were designed by Dr. Dale Welbourne and Merritt Powell.
