At Dedication Ceremony...Dr. Mathew A. Tinley, center, expresses his appreciation of having the new school named for him. With him are School Supt. Russel J. Mourer and Capt. Edward O. Scharn, head of the ROTC units here.

New Tinley School...on southwest corner of Eighth St. and Avenue G is ready for occupancy. Students will move from the Eighth Street School, left, into the new $344,000 building on Friday.

Mathew A. Tinley School...is nearing completion at Eighth Street and Avenue G. The 4350,000 building was officially named Wednesday. it will replace the old Eighth Street School.
