Council Bluffs already has become a frequent port-of-call for water traffic such as this and local businessmen hope to see it increase. This view, taken north of the South Omaha Bridge, includes other means of transportation which converge on the city; a highway along the river and railroad yards in the background. Iowa appears in the right foreground. The camera faces west toward Nebraska.
