Description
Plastic Sheets . . . are another construction innovation being used on the Interstate project. The plastic us used to simplify the curing of freshly poured concrete. When the new surface is poured, it is immediately covered with huge sheets of the material. The plastic resists the evaporation of moisture in the concrete, eliminating the necessity of constant watering. After 72 hours, this crew comes along and removes the covering.
