Description

Council Bluffs Changing Scene: This was the residence of Conrad Geise, some 73 years ago. The picture appeared in the Illustrated Atlas of Pottawattamie County, published in 1885. Geise, a bottler and brewer, lived on Frank Street, near Harmony. His plant, on the west side of Indian Creek near Nicholas Street, faced Broadway. The old atlas belongs to Charles M. Roe of 515 Huntington Ave.
