Description
Graceful White Pillars . . . distinguish the home at 201 Third St., owned by Mr. and Mrs. Everett Shockey. The motif of the columns on the exterior is carried into the hallway and to the living room fireplace of the home. Grouped around the unusual statue, "La Marguerite," on the stair newel, are Mrs. Elmer Bean, Mrs. Shockey, Mrs. Grace Havick and Mrs. Martin Silverstrand. The Shockey home was built at the turn of the century by Dr. H.B. Jennings and later occupied by its architect, E.P. Schoentgen.
