Description
Today...the old hospital is gone. And the northwest corner of Ninth St. and Sixth Ave. is solid with houses. Patients were transferred from the old General Hospital in June of 1907 to the the then new Jennie Edmundson Hospital at Oak and Pierce Sts. The old hospital was then torn down.
