Council Bluffs Changing Scene--Dohany's Opera House as 554 W. Broadway, is shown as it appeared in the booklet, Council Bluffs Illustrated, published in 1889.
["Today" photography not present in the file, but the caption for the photo in the Nonpareil reads:
"Today...the Strand theater occupies the same site at Sixth St. and Broadway on the northeast corner. It bears an ornate front, in sharp contrast to the old opera house."
