Title
Goose Haven Flood Threat
Subject
Local news
Description
Residents of Goosehaven, two and one half miles northwest of the Honey Creek interchange on Interstate 29, watched as water from the Missouri River, resting just short of flooding, reached a few doorsteps. The river, just beyond the cabins, backed up in a low spot (foreground) covering a road to the cabins at the right. Water was still receding Saturday in this small resort where there are about 30 year-round residents. Watching here are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Flanagan, Vern Talcott and Al Jones.
