Description

Council Bluffs Changing Scene--On a cold December day in 1922, this three-story building at the corner of Fourth St. and Broadway caught fire. The fire burned a path through the two top floors. Note the frozen water on the side of the building. At that time , the building was the site of the Woolworth Dime Store. At the right is the Hospe Piano Store.
