Description

It's a big job moving a factory from one location to another. Movers prepare to lower a 110-ton punch press in the new Giant Manufacturing Co. plant at 3211 Nebraska Ave. The move started Sept. 1 and will be completed before Oct. 1, says Don L. Harding, president. The new plant covers 75,000 square feet all on one floor. The old plant is in the path of the South Side Viaduct.
