Description
Dr. E.O. Bean and Mrs. Anna Lainson, Red Cross nurse, examine Stevie Wood, 9 months old, held by his mother, Mrs. Georgia Wood, in Danish Hall, an emergency Red Cross shelter at Council Bluffs. The child was injured in an accident at the family home, 1409 Ave K, Council Bluffs, before rising waters forced them to evacuate to the shelter.
