Description
Beebeetown, the "biggest little town in Harrison County," celebrated its 100th birthday Saturday with a centennial parage viewed by nearly 4,000 spectators. About 80 units in the parade traveled a parade route of more than a mile, starting and ending well outside of the town district. One of the floats was this one by the Beebeetown Grow and Study Club, which carried the motto, "Make America Beautiful." Riding on the float were, from left: Mrs. Don Anderson, Mrs. E.E. Ellis, Mrs. Albert Wohlers, Mrs. Ralph Smith, Mrs. Frank Kocour, Lulu Lenz and Mrs. Clintno O'Neil. The group has been organized since 1953.
