Council Bluffs Police Chief Ed Dinovo shakes the hand of Richard Johnson, one of six men sworn in as officers by acting deputy City Clerk LuAn Overgard Monday morning in Dinovo's office. Dinovo told the six they would be "a big help" to the city by bringing the police personnel to its full complement of 96. The men, Mike Brookover, Billy Higgins, Johnson, William Rock, Jerry Mann and Gary Urbanac, will be trained for several weeks before they hit the streets. Urbanac and Rock flank Johnson in the photo.
