Description

This beautiful concrete patio at Community Memorial Hospital at Missouri Valley offers patients an ideal spot for "sun treatment" while enjoying the wide expanse of Missouri River valley which stretches before them. The patio was planned free for the hospitals by Ted Wilding, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wilding of Missouri Valley. All furnishings and equipment were donated by the hospital auxiliary and friends of the hospital. The area is enclosed on two sides by means of a walnut stained fence. One a clear day, patio occupants can see Council Bluffs and Omaha, 18 miles to the southwest.
