Mall Gets City OK For Work

Covered walkways similar to that extending from the Broadway entrance of Midlands Mall near Bishops in this architectural drawing may soon appear on the east and west ends of the city-owned parking garage at the mall. Tubular steel porticoes will extend about 12 feet from the building. Mall officials presented plans for renovations to the exterior of the garage to the Council Bluffs Development Commission Monday. Renovations outside the mall will begin next year.
