Mayor Maynard Telpner officially opens the new McDonald's Hamburger Restaurant at 2629 W. Broadway Tuesday. Taking part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony are George Beno Jr., representing the Chamber of Commerce; John Skoog and B.L. Copeland, co-owners, both of Omaha, and Telpner. Darrell Combs o0f 2647 Third Ave., is manager of the new business.
