McDonald's Drive-In

New arches arrived this week at McDonald's of Manawa, 3036 S. Expressway. The 75-foot sign was put up by Globe Sign Co. of Omaha. The workers are Mike Gardener on top of the sign, Earl Ward in the center and Lou Gintz.

McDonald's nationwide hamburger chain has started construction of a new $125,000 unit at 2629 W. Broadway in Council Bluffs. It will be the 11th McDonald's in Iowa. The firm has 419 restaurants in 42 states.
