Preparing A "Room"...for one grade school girl in Primary Hall at Iowa School for the Dear is Mrs. Marie Gronberg, director of housekeeping. Partitions separate the sleeping quarters for each student.
Once An Infirmary...this structure, completed in 1906 at the cost of $25,000, is now the dormitory for primary students. The building is shown near the completion of construction, before a small cupola topped it off.
An Elegant Barn...and 18 Holstein cows graced the school's farm in 1910. On 220 acres were several buildings, corn fields, pastures, a large orchard, vineyard and truck farm. The barn burned down somewhere around 1930.
