Description
Towering Above . . . Interstate Highway 680 at the Loveland rest area is the long-awaited observation platform. The wooden tower has five levels, giving tourists a panoramic view of the Missouri River valley to the west. The tower was part of a controversy waged over whether to locate the rest area so close to another interstate rest facility.
