The young aren't the only ones who enjoy Christmas parties. Residents of Longview Nursing Home at Missouri Valley were feted at a party Sunday. A.J. Podenoif, 91, donned the Santa suit to pass out gifts around the big tree. From left, are Minnie Babik, 93, Lizzie Shirey, 96, Alice Van Dongue, 93, Podenoif, Sarah Haight, 98, and Mary Greer, 92. Many of the residents will spend Christmas with relatives but those who will remain at the home will be able to entertain guests.
