(Top) Soon To Broadcast . . . educational television to Southwest Iowa is the Iowa Educational Broadcasting Network (IEBN) tower northeast of Oakland. The building at the right contains various signal transmission devices and the tower's power sources. Channels 36 and 32 should be on the air in about three weeks.

(Bottom) The Broadcasting Area . . . of the IEBN in Southwest Iowa is shown by this map. The addition of towers at Oakland and Council Bluffs will send public television to most of 22 counties.
