Description
Passing Council Bluffs, the USS Hazard made its way up the Missouri River Friday afternoon, headed for its berth at NP Dodge Memorial Park North of Omaha. The Hazard was in the tow of Sioux City and New Orleans tugs to Omaha, escorted by several Corps of Engineers boats and several private crafts. All along the route many curious persons lined the shore to witness the Hazard's journey. These persons watched from the bank near the Peavy river docks.
