Description

The 111-year-old log cabin in Atlantic City Park has been turned over to the city of Atlantic and will probably be used to house Santa Claus during the holiday season. The cabin, a gift from Charles Gipples, was originally built by a John Gingery and had been used as a school in the mid-1860s. It was restored earlier this year by the Atlantic Rotary Club.
