Description
Arrowhead Bridge: This 110-foot steel span has been installed across the northeast end of the lake at Arrowhead Park near Neola. Park custodian Harry Schueman of Avoca, right, and Clarence Armstrong of Neola, measure for flooring. Two 30-foot pilings were driven at the opposite end of the bridge which formerly crossed Mosquito Creek near Glendale School. The bridge will permit park visitors to cross the lake rather than take a long trip around the water.
