Description

Kindergartener Richard Cox, of Sunnydale School, braces for a shot of red measles vaccine administered by Dean Rich of the state department of health. The "gun" he used Thursday at a vaccination clinic at Hoover School is painless. Assisting him is Mrs. Lynn Wenstrand, a volunteer with the local Red Cross Chapter. Similar clinics were ebing held at Roosevelt, Kreft, Lakeview and Lewis Central elementary schools. The one vaccination will give the children a lifelong immunity to the disease. Precautions to be taken on possible reaction to the vaccine were sent home with the students.
