Title
Bright spots - and grim ones, a PAWS report card
Subject
local news
Description
Into a kennel . . . goes the stray black Lab, to wait for adoption or to be reclaimed by its owner. PAWS keeps every animal for adoption or reclamation for at least seven days - longer, if possible. Animals picked up in cruelty investigations get veterinary care and stay until they have recovered. "It never fails," PAWS director Nancy Burton said. "In winter, we have at least one cruelty complaint every day."
