All in readiness . . . for their trip to the Independence Day celebration are Gordon Wilcox, band captain ; Floyd 'Doc' Williams, Sid Wilcox of Missouri Vally, director ; Bob Owen drum major, and Orrie Gates. Mr. Williams is with the clarinet section of the band. Mr. Owen and Mr. Gates also are members of the brass section, horns and basses respectively.
