Northcrest Home Designed In Detail For Comfort Of Elderly

(1) Northcrest Manor Exterior . . . is brick and painted aluminum. Windows at left indicate dining room, at right, the lounge. The $230,000 convalescent and nursing center will admit its first patients Monday.

(2) Seventy-two By Thirty-three-foot Lounge . . . is focal point for Northcrest's planned social and recreational activities. Television, library and game tables are available. Wall murals in lounge and dining room are the work of Phyllis Lynum of Omaha. Ceiling is suspended acoustical tile.

(3) Dining Room . . . for 150 persons gets approving glance from John King, Northcrest's executive director. Adjoining modern kitchen is especially equipped to prepare various special diets.

(4) Live Birds Roosting . . . in an artificial tree in a corner of the lounge are checked by interior decorator Mrs. Ruth Raskin.
