Description
The Arch Of Triumph . . . in Paris was planned by Napoleon and erected between 1825 and 1836 to commemorate his victories. An Unknown Soldier's grave lies beneath the Arch, the largest in the world. Twelve broad avenues, boarded by some of the wealthiest residences in the city, radiate from the Arch.
