This Is Part Of The Crowd . . . of more than 8,000 people which jammed Bayliss Park in 1960 to hear Richard Nixon in his bid for the presidency. Mrs. Nixon, noting all the reporters and photographers present for the occasion quipped that she now knew why there were called the "press."
