Description

After about five years of dormancy, the fountain at the Historic Gen. Dodge House was back in operation Friday. Richard C. Peterson. left, and his nephew, Wade C. Peterson of Miamai, Fla., watch as the water is turned on by Bob Potkonak, caretaker of the historic home and fountain engineer. The Petersons helped finance the repairs needed to put the fountain back in working order. The fountain, which originally graced Bayliss Park, will be officially turned on at a Memorial Day ceremony.
