Rear Admiral Ronald E. Narmi, a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, is helped to that rank by his wife Faye (left), and his mother, Mrs. Mike Narmi Sr., 3500 Avenue D. Narmi received his new rank Tuesday at ceremonies at Strategic Air Command Headquarters. Narmi said some of the influences that helped him achieve success were "the good things that came from family." He was born in Council Bluffs and attended Iowa State College as a Navy ROTC midshipman. graduating in 1955.
