Officials of H&K Products Co., soon to be a subsidiary of the new Micro-Scientific Industries, Inc., (MSI) breaks ground Monday for its 42,000 square-foot building on the Iowa-Nebraska River Industrial Park site, Thirty-fifth Street and Nebraska Avenue. Mayor Don Franksen, left, and Chamber of Commerce President Peter J. Peters, right, watch Jack Silk, Clarence Huntley, H&K president, Don Anderson and Lee Schaefer turn the first piece of sod. Silk, Anderson and Schaefer are partners in an investment operation which, with the other H&K stockholders, will form MSI. Construction, by Wieman and Slechta Co. Omaha, is slated to begin on the site Friday.
