Fish hauling transport . . used for bringing in stock from Wisconsin and southern states is checked by Hansen, a graduate fisheries biologist who manages the farm.
Small fish . . . are fed by Hansen. The fish are kept in a wire holding cages in one of the quarries. Eager eaters, the small fish gain fast on the commercial feed, are later turned loose in the lake.
Working headquarters of Aqua-Farms Inc. near Macedonia is this uncompleted building that houses big fish tanks, processing shop and offices. Leaving the building are Steve Hansen, president, and Larry Vorse of Council Bluffs, board chairman.
