Big jaws on the crane easily grab an auto off the pile of thousands on hand. The bodies are fed into the Alter yard from southern Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska and western and central Iowa. Many of the &quot;junkers&quot; are flattened for transporting but the big shredder will pull a whole auto into the big rollers just as easy. Shredder operator is Joe Wolcott, and crane operator is Harold Andreagg.
