(bottom)  Mount Loretto High School in Council Bluffs closed its doors with graduation exercises for a class of 22 in 1965. The all-girl Catholic high school at 1201 N. Movers prepare to lower a 110-ton punch press in the new Giant  Manufacturing Co. plant at 3211 Nebraska Ave. The move started Sept. 1 and will be completed before Oct. 1, says Don L. Harding, president. The new plant covers 75,000 square feet all on one floor. The old plant is in the path of the South Side Viaduct.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Interstate 80N continues to be pushed west across Pottawattamie County with work on the super-road now under way at Loveland. Thousands of cubic yards of dirt are being moved by Treiber Construction Co. of Danbury from bluffs to the bottomland to form the overpass at Highway 30A and the Chicago and North Western Railroad just south of the Loveland School, shown at right. Dirt is also being trucked a half mile west of Loveland to build a detour route for Interstate 29 which will be closed at the point where I-80 will intersect. Also under way is preliminary work on the Illinois Central Railroad underpass west of town.]]></dcterms:description>
