    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Dredged areas of Lake Manawa (1) are easily seen in this air photo, taken from a height of 10,000 feet. Areas designated as No. 2 are those which will be dredged if Council Bluffs raises the balance of its $25,000 pledged for the project.  The balance due is $15,000. Silt from the dredged areas will be pumped into the sectional dikes marked No. 3. Section 4 will be the swampy wild-life preserve. The dredge and its pipeline can be seen in the center of the photo. The top of the general lake triangle is the northeast shoreline. &quot;Moth holes&quot; in sections Nos. 2 and 4 are duck blinds constructed by hunters this fall. Sixty-five acres of the lake have already been dredged to a depth of eight to twelve feet. Plans call for dredging 100 additional acres.]]></dcterms:description>
