Crushed Truck . . . becomes a platform for fire fighters after rear walls of the burning building cave in on it. The falling wall broke an electric power line, holding icicles on track back. Shown toppling here are the shells of the South Main Furniture Company (center) and Nick's Tavern (right). A heavy steel ball swung by the dragline at left battered the facades, knocking them onto a rubble heap on the two lots.
