The sale of the home to the city of Davenport and St. Luke&#039;s Hospital there was approved June 30 by the Iowa Executive Council.]]></dcterms:description>

The picture appeared in the Illustrated Atlas of Pottawattamie County, published in 1885.  Geise, a bottler and brewer, lived on Frank Street, near Harmony.  His plant, on the west side of Indian Creek near Nicholas Street, faced Broadway.  The old atlas belongs to Charles M. Roe of 515 Huntington Ave. ]]></dcterms:description>
