Today...the building is the garage and storeroom for the Council Bluffs district of the Iowa Power and Light Co. Within the last half century, the front of the building has been faced with concrete, windows modernized, and many other changes made.

On Display ....in the Iowa Power and Light Co. window are artifacts recovered from the sunkrn riverboat Bertrand. The boat was uncovered in the old Missouri River channel at DeSoto Bend.
