The picture appeared in the Illustrated Atlas of Pottawattamie County, published in 1885. Geise, a bottler and brewer, lived on Frank Street, near Harmony. His plant, on the west side of Indian Creek near Nicholas Street, faced Broadway. The old atlas belongs to Charles M.
