Dion of San Francisco, California, in training in the Naval Air Basic Training Command, Pensacola, Fla., escorted Miss Iowa during the final activities of the Miss Universe contest in Long Beach, Calif. Cadet Dion was one of 80 selected NavCads to escorts the beauty contestants. Numbered among the group was the Naval Aviation Cadet Choir. The choir sang at the beauty contest, and on the return trip to Pensacola, stopped at Denver, Colorado, for a performance. ]]></dcterms:description>
