The fifth pastor, Rev. J. Sims, was the first who had Epworth as his sole charge. Succeeding him were Rev. Louis Ripley, Rev. W.D. Price, Rev. T.C. Webster and Rev. W.L. Holley.
In June of 1908 Rev. A.V. Babbs exchanged charges with Rev. Mr. Holley. It was Rev. Mr. Babbs who in 1909 conducted the building campaign which resulted in the erection of the present structure at a cost of $8,500.
The church was dedicated on May 6, 1910. It was not until later, however, that the purchase of the present parsonage was made. </dcterms:description>

A group of Nonpareil European Holiday visitors clustered around a guide as she related the history of this 12th century building, made famous by Shakespeare's "Tragedy Of Hamlet." Ancient cannons still stand on the ramparts overlooking The Sound, dating back to the days when shipping paid a tribute to the Danes for use of waters leading into the Baltic Sea. Toll was collected until 1857 - and modern Danes still believe it was a mistake to drop it. Kronberg was the last historic place visited before the group returned after three weeks touring in Europe.</dcterms:description>
